The Bhawanipur Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Training (BEST) Collective of the Bhawanipur Education Society College organised an Inter-college Business Fest ‘NEXUS 2022’ after a gap of two-years. This Annual Inter College Management Fest took place on the 23rd and 24th August, 2022 in the college campus. The aim of the fest was to bring out the competitive spirit of students and test their business acumen, skills, and knowledge.
The management fest gave students an opportunity to interact with the already established corporates and showcase their approach and ideas about specific segments in the business world. Students participated in various business and management events like, ‘Dream To Dawn’, ‘Social Tycoon’, ‘Corporate Chanakya’, ‘Under The Hammer’, etc. in order to enhance their knowledge about the corporate world and help bring out the best from each participants under controlled and simulated environments. Students got to visualize the corporate scenario of the real world and learn about the ever-evolving business environment.
All together fourteen colleges took part and about 265 students were seen actively contesting. The judges came from industry, and they extensively enlightened and educated participants with their experience.
Finally, the winners declared were the host college (overall champions) but they passed on the trophy to J.D Birla College as a goodwill gesture. The highlight of the fest was the dignity that it gave to guest colleges from inauguration till price distribution. Even at the valedictory session the hall was packed. The event was held in collaboration with Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI).
