Whether it be the importance of social skills or personality grooming or sports and fitness regime, all of them are established notions in BESC. The College recently organised an event dedicated to fitness, an important facet of our lifestyle. Similar workshops in the recent past had occurred, aimed towards the exigency of ones’ agility and endurance. Quite compelling as it is, a healthy mind also requires a fit body.
The event was curated with the aim to promote physical fitness among the students and decoding its importance. The programme included several activities such as Push-Ups, Crunches, Plank, Squats, Tier-roll, Rope.
Around 50 students took part enthusiastically. The winner was chosen based on their performance timing. Umang Jaiswal got the first position as the winner while Sheikh Shoeb Ali and Arpan Das, secured the position of the 1st and 2nd Runners-up respectively. Vidhi Vyas was the declared winner in the girls’ counterpart of the event.
All the winning contestants were given trophies and certificates. The event played on the audience mind the message to work on their physique and to emerge both mentally and physically fit.

Rangoli, also known as Kolam or Muggu, is a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals . The Rangoli competition was held on the Valia Hall.
