Day-1:
The teachers and students of the department of computer science of the Bhawanipur Education Society College, started the 3-day trip with a visit to the salargunj museum. The team got to view the world famous English Bracket Clock in action, along with an array of beautiful marble statues which were made during the british rule.
The team then proceeded to the Goloconda Fort. Golconda fort is undoubtedly one of the most magnificent fortress complexes in India. The inner fort contains ruins of palaces, mosques and a hill top pavilion, which rises about 130 meters high gives a bird’s eye view of the whole city of Telangana. The sunset was perfect with the scintillating view from the top of the fort.
Day-2:
The second day was arguably the most important day of the trip. On the second day the team visited Ramoji Film City – the largest film studio complex in the world. To begin with, Ramoji Film City tour offers behind the scenes experiences of live movie sets and shoots-in-progress. Plus, there are restaurants, a dedicated area for shopping, rides etc. It had a fake airport, hospital, railway station, laboratories, Tihar Jail, temples, churches, mosques, ancient caves (man-made), British and French residential societies, Mughal and Japanese gardens, and the list goes on.
The team learnt how films are created. The multimedia animation behind it was pretty amazing. One of the teachers, Ms. Anamika Guha volunteered for a short film which was totally shot in front of everyone. With the help of Green Screen animation, her movements were perfectly amalgamated in a motion picture. The background score was also created right in front of the team using noting but regular trinkets. The way the combination of lights, camera angles, different sounds, music was explained to all of us.
Day-3:
The third day was all about visiting the famous sites in the city. First off, the team visited Char-Minar. After spending quality time soaking up the beautiful locality, the team went on a boat ride on the famous Hussain Sagar Lake.
