A two-day National Seminar on Child Sexual Abuse: An Integrative Cross- Functional Approach was organized by the Departments of Human Rights, Sociology, Journalism and Mass Communication on 01 and 02 March 2019 at Loreto College.
The seminar was organized by The Bhawanipur Education Society College in collaboration with O.P Jindal Global University (Haryana) and Loreto College (Kolkata). The seminar addressed the issue of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) from a multi-disciplinary perspective by taking into account not just the role of parents as primary care-givers but also scrutinized the role of different stakeholders (including government and non-governmental agencies) involved in dealing with CSA related cases. Students from various departments participated and read out extremely informative papers that enlightened the audience with the delicate subject of Child Abuse.
On 9th August, a bunch of energetic students from the knowledge adda group met up at 2nd floor auditorium for a Group Discussion on the topic, “Presidential System tend to focus electoral campaigns on personalities rather than political platforms.
