The Bhawanipur Education Society College students found a golden opportunity to meet heroes from their individual career paths on the 27th of March 2023. Dignitaries from three prestigious institutions namely, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India gathered in the Jubilee hall of the college at 11:00 A.M to be felicitated for their contributions and address future aspiring students pursuing the courses of CA(Chartered Accountancy), CMA(Cost and Management Accounting), CS(Company Secretariat), respectively. This once-in-a-lifetime chance was seized by the students to meet their icons and they flocked to the hall as soon as the gates opened.
There were in total 12 dignitaries from the three institutions and some of them also happened to be past alumni of the college. The event commenced at 11:30 A.M with the dignitaries igniting the ceremonial lamp along with the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah. Following it, the dignitaries were called upon the stage by Prof. CA Vivek P. Patwari and Prof. CS Nitin Chaturvedi, who were the anchors for the event; to be felicitated by Prof. Shah and thereby shared their enlightening words with the students. Starting from CA Ranjeet Agarwal, Vice President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to Dr. Debashish Mitra, Central Council member and immediate past President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and CMA Biswarup Basu, Former President, and Central Council Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. The event also saw the felicitation of CS (DR.) Mohit Shaw, Vice Chairman OF EIRC OF The Institute of Company Secretaries of India with the other dignitaries present shared their valuable knowledge and experiences with the students helping them make more suitable choices in the future.
Students were advised to inculcate more technological practices to be more efficient in the future. An event where we witnessed wisdom transferred from experience to enthusiasm.
