About 20 colleges played in the Jovenes cup which took place in the NKDA football ground (newtown) on 24.03.2018 & 25.03.2018.
Leading names include, CEM Kolaghat, AJC Bose college, Institute of Engineering and Management, Amity University, NSEC, Future Institute of Management and Techno India University.
It is heartening to note that this year the The Bhawanipur Education Society College secured the 1st place in FOOTBALL (not so much played in the college).
Subho Baidya (Bhawanipur College) secured the man of the match award as well as the Highest goal scorer and Saipayaid Ghosh (Bhawanipur College) became the best Goal keeper.
The scorecard of the Final is as follows: BESC vs CEM Kolaghat – 01 to 00 (Bhawanipur College won) “The college is elated as it congratulates the players and the games department including the football team coach”, said Sir Champak Lal Doshi, the President of the college.
Sir Jitubhai Sheth and Sir Umeshbhai Thakkar were also excited about this feat.
“With this we have opened a new horizon for student activities” remarked Prof. Dilip Shah.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted a thrilling Intra-College Basketball Championship at the College Turf from 2 P.M. onwards on June 6th, 2024.
