Is mankind alone in the universe? Or are there somewhere other intelligent beings looking up into their night sky from very different worlds and asking the same kind of question?
On Friday, 12th November 2021, 20 enthusiastic students from different streams, joined the discussion. The ice-breaking question was “What is an Alien?” After that, the discussion went ahead. Many interesting answers from the students came forth which led to theories and hypotheses like the Simulation hypothesis, Great Barrier filter, Dark matter, and antimatter, and so on.
They spoke on the fireless efforts by mankind to find extraterrestrial life. Topics like Life on Mars, Eros, the Golden record, arose. Crazy theories started to come up, the students indulged in each topic with equal interest. Theories including the Ant colony theory and the parallel universe theory were discussed actively by the participants. The discussion session concluded with a cheer from the participants, who are eagerly looking forward to such discussion sessions in the future.
