In the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge, people started their move towards a technologically advanced life. We see digitisation and implementation of digital technology in every sector. Without a proper digital branding now a day’s Brands are left nowhere and people with business keeps hunting for leads and clients. To bridge this gap and make our students industry ready a Digital Marketing seminar was held on August 3, 2017 from 10:30 am to 12:30pm in the Concept Hall of the College. Digital marketing (also known as data-driven marketing) is an umbrella term for the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.
The opening speech of the session was given by Umang Somani followed by remarks from the Dean of student affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah, who welcomed the speakers on the stage, Mr. Angshuman Sett, from NIHT Infosolution Private Limited and Mr. Neil Hirjee. Together, they enlightened the audience on approaches to help companies learn how to leverage the dynamics of Digital Marketing to achieve organizational goals and create business value like; how to make money through internet, YouTube and Instagram usage, Search Engine Optimization, Content Marketing and other benefits of digital marketing.
Altogether it was a knowledgeable session for the students.
