The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) General Manager, Mr Rajib Sarkar shared how cyber crime happens, how multi-layering transactions take place which are difficult to trace, where even if the criminals are traced it is almost impossible to get back the money. In the words of Mr. Sarkar, eradicating corruption might be a difficult task, but we can definitely reduce it. Lastly, he asked the students to always listen to their conscience and be sincere and honorable citizens of the country. Followed by Mr. Sarkar, Prof. Chaturvedi spoke about how this cyber crime is constantly on the rise and how important it is to be aware of the dark side of digital media. Dr. Shantanu Saha shared the secrets of cyber security and he suggested that we not share personal information over phone calls in public places.
