Getting an interview call for your dream job is a step in the right direction. However, it is not the end of the road as you still need to crack that interview.
Recently The Bhawanipur Education Society College had organised a workshop on ‘How to Crack an Interview’ with a goal of giving students a unique learning experience which fosters their ability to manage themselves during strategical interviews. The workshop was held at the sixth floor Jubilee Hall, on 8th August 2022 from 10:30 a.m. onwards.
The orientation was inaugurated by Prof. Dilip Shah, the Dean of Student Affairs. Ms. Prachi Mahajan an alumnus of SP Jain India and Mr Inder Chopra an alumnus of IIM (kolkata) were the speakers of the day who made sure to guide everyone about the different types of interviews such as freewheeling, stress and miscellaneous interviews and discussed about few different types of questions such as Ice- breaking, Behavioural, Traditional Questions, Case Questions, Role-play Questions, Industry-specific Questions, Brainteasers and Performance – Based Questions. As a lot of candidates face difficulty in an interview purely because they don’t understand which type of interview, they are appearing in. Depending on the interview you are a part of, your answers, concentration levels, preparation, interpersonal skills, and responses need to vary.
The workshop provided innumerable information and professional guidance on interviews projecting yourself as the right candidate for the profile you have applied for, which was beneficial for the final year students to find out the tips to tackle tricky interviews.
