We’ll have you ever desired to be on the hot seat of Kaun Banega Crorepati? Let’s not lie, one activity that has been on since the 2000 and is still common in all the families – whether small or joint has been none other than watching the KBC on our TV screens and trying to guess the correct answer before it is revealed. Whether a person is 2 or 20, it’s a hidden dream for all to be on the hot seat once and experience the fastest finger first. On 3rd July 2021, The Bhawanipur Education Society College – Department of Commerce (Morning) fulfilled this dream of being on the hot seat by organising a Management Quiz for the students in the format of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Quizzically Yours- The Management Quiz was held from 4pm onwards with 11 teams having 4 members each competing against each other for the top 3 positions and with 56 students as audience. The event began with Prof. Dilip Shah welcoming all and with the introduction of Prof. Supriya Pincha as the Management Expert for the quiz.
The first round was on Human Resource Management conducted by Prof. Shilpi Jha. This round had no eliminations. The second round was on Management Experts conducted by Prof. Sraddha Agarwal. By the end of this round, 3 teams were eliminated. The third round was on Marketing Management conducted by Prof. Divya Udeshi. From the 4th round the contesting teams were provided with the opportunity to use the Management Expert lifeline only once which enabled them to opt for the correct answer.
At the end of round 4, three teams were again eliminated which left Team Alpha (2) and the Mind Fizz as the top two teams who went in for round 5. The finale round was Current Affairs conducted by Prof. Amrita Roy Choudhury. Both teams at the end of round 5 were at the same score i.e at 230 points.
