The desire to ignite the passion of quizzing among the students and thereby rekindle Kolkata’s obsession with everything Quiz is one that the Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) takes very seriously. Naturally, the way the fledgling Quizzing Collective of the College is growing from strength to strength is a matter of great happiness. The community took another step in this direction with the Quirosity Quiz which witnessed a very healthy participation and keen competition.
The proceedings were conducted by Andrew Scolt, Vice President of Derek O’Brien Association. The competition was broken down into five rounds with each round having eight questions that covered audio, visual and audio-visual clues. In all eleven teams having two members each participated in what was an extremely close finish.
The event was conducted by student coordinator Pooja Manot.
Teams represented by Soumya Ray and Anirban Mazumder; Sayan Krishna Mitra and Sourav Singh and Ishaan Pancholi and Akash Chaturvedi took the top three slots after a nail-biter.
