‘The happiest people in the world are those who make others happy’
Lack of access to medicines causes a cascade of misery and suffering with no relief form the excruciating pain. Bridging this divide between availability and need, the NSS collective of the College has organised MED-DRIVE for an old age home, Tollygunge Homes 186, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Rd, Regent Park, Kolkata, West Bengal 700040.
On December 20, 2021, three students representing NSS collective and the NSS coordinator visited Tollygunge Homes with a box full of medicines contributed by the students and faculty members of the College. The contributed medicine and essential items included:
Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric coated and domperidone Sustained Release Capules-9 Tablets
Jaymol 650- 1strip
Zofer-8 tablets
We thank the management of college, Prof. Dilip Shah for their constant support to conduct the entire project without any hassle. We also thank all the students and faculty members who came forward for this noble cause. Due to COVID safety protocols we could not take too many volunteers. Taking all the precautions, three students Harshita Joshi, Pragra Rakesha and Muskan Das visited the old age home. We appreciate their courage and commitment to serve the society.
It was our little effort to reflect the true motto of NSS “Not Me But You”.
