BESC took part in the IIHM fest, and as usual, won the hearts of the crowd. The overall winner’s trophy going to BESC, was a foregone conclusion! Volleyball, face painting, football, debate, badminton – all the usual events were held with participants from BESC maxing out in most of them.
The two evets that not only swayed the crowds but were real nail-biters were the fashion show and the dance battle. Hatim Rangawala and Sakchi Murarka were the moving spirits behind the fashion do and though they lost out in the final leg, it was more of an anti-climax than a let-down – their inventiveness and sheer virtuosity were acknowledged by the judges and the crowd alike.
The Dance battle – and what a battle it was – had judges calling for a repeat performance by the two contenders for the top slot as both were equally good. Finally, the BESC team edged past to the podium, a first among equals.
