The second objective underscored the concept of “The Power of Tiny Gains,” emphasizing how small improvements can lead to significant advancements. This concept was applied to the ten essential elements mentioned by IMA for conducting case study methodology. The third objective involved explaining how case study projects are conducted within the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). This included outlining the six characteristics of IMA’s Management Accounting Competency, which encompass leadership, strategy, planning and performance, professional ethics and values, business acumen and operations, technology and analytics, and reporting and control.
The presentation concluded by highlighting the significance of soft skills. Soft skills, such as emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and negotiation, are essential for success in the field of management accounting and case study methodology.
