The BESC family arranged for a students’ picnic on 15th of January, 2016 to the Ibiza Resorts, Joka, situated in the outskirts of our winsome city Kolkata. Students were asked to assemble by 8 a.m sharp in the morning and buses were lined up for ferrying them to the picnic spot. They were accompanied by the faculty along with Prof. Dilip Shah who’s enthusiasm revived the fervour of the students, suffering from early winter morning indolence!
After reaching the spot, hot sandwiches were served for breakfast along with sweets which was relished by all. After the delectable breakfast students set out in groups to explore the exotic resort and engaged themselves in various sport activities like swimming, boat riding, gun shooting, kayaking, zorbing, cycling and many more adventurous sports offered by the resort itself. They enjoyed the whole day until they were commenced for lunch and after having another scrumptious course of meal the students and teachers played a round of “HOUSIE ” where students of course, pinched away most of the prizes. Then the students were led to the in house discotheque where they let their hairs down and enjoyed to the fullest. The time for departure had arrived by then and the students concluded the most amazing picnic by posing for a group photograph amidst the greenery of the resort premises. The students boarded the buses and were ferried back to the college exhausted, but with an immense hope to enjoy an annual picnic every year…
