Organised by Yi Bhawanipur Chaupal, Yi Bhawanipur Chaupal students along with the professor coordinator, under the Global Entrepreneurship week organized an Industrial visit to the Largest ferrous casting Unit in Eastern India with a production capacity of 78000MT per annum- KISWOK Industries Pvt. Ltd. on the 17th of October.
At the site, students were divided into teams and were guided throughout the factory visit by different production heads through the two different process of: casting and moulding. The formation of liquid iron and the accuracy they maintain to deliver the final product. They went to the testing department of ‘sand’ and ‘liquid iron’ where every batch was tested for their quality and accuracy with the ordered product. The information was discussed in depth with the students and attended to by Mr. Mayank kejriwal of Kiswok Industries.
The atmosphere has been made divine by constructing a temple at the entrance which every morning acted as the point of harmony.
After the visit student queries were addressed and a feedback form was handed over for suggestions to be considered by the management and the student with the best suggestion was gifted a t-shirt by KISWOK. Moreover, a quiz was conducted regarding the visit and every correct answer was awarded with a chocolate.
A memento was presented to Mr. Mayank Kejriwal on behalf of the chaupal.
Thus, an integrated mix of management and production mechanism was seen with much satisfied workforce with unbeatable team work. No wonder it has received “National Award for Export Excellence” for the year 1976 – 77
