The Department of Physics, The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a ‘One Day Symposium (Phase II) From Hands On Experiments To Resent Development In Particle Physics’ on 11th April 2022. The symposium was organized in collaboration with the department of physics of Jogamaya Devi college, Kolkata and the IQAC, The Bhawanipur Education Society College.
The Symposium was funded by The Bhawanipur Education Society College.
The symposium was started at 11:00 A.M. in the concept hall of our college.
Program was started with the inaugural speech by the convener Dr. Arnab Gangopadhyay. Our respected T.I.C, Vice Principal (Science), IQAC coordinator, Prof T. Sen and faculties of Physics and other departments were presents in the inauguration ceremony.
Jt. convener Ballari Chakrabarti from Jogamaya Devi college was also present with two other faculties of same college. Senior most professor Dr. Suparna Basak conducted the whole program.
Freelance Educator Mr. Krishnendu Chakraborty carried excellent hands-on experiments to demonstrate clear insight to physics laws.
He conducted an excellent mentoring session to the students also.

Total number of participants registered through online Google-form was 111. Total number of participants joined was 87. Among them 79 students and 8 were teachers form host and other institutes.
There was one lecture by Prof A. Kundu after the lunch. Unfortunately, Dr A. Kundu was unable to attend the Symposium due to accident. Mr. Krishnendu Chakraborty continued the 2nd session up to 04:45 P.M.
The symposium was ended by the vote-of-thanks by Dr. Suparna Basak.
