The Bhawanipur Volleyball (Men’s) Team created a new record in the C.U. for the first time by winning the Finals of the C.U. Volleyball Championship 2021-22 against Dhrubachandra College, Barasat at the C.U. Ground by set score 2 – 0 (25 – 23 ) and (25 – 22).
The Bhawanipur College Team played their semi finals against Vidya Nagar College and won by set score 2 – 0 (25-14) and (25-12).
Back on 17th January 2017 B.E.S.C. Volleyball Team started with all hopes to win the Calcutta University Championship on 4th September 2019 we were the University 1st Runners up. And finally the Team which started forming in 2016 on 26th March 2022 were declared Calcutta University Champions, we are proud of you.
Intra College Darts Championship ( Singles ) for Boys & Girls 2015-2016 was held at Games & Sports Room on 30th November & 1st December 2015. 87 Boys & 13 girls participated in the Intra College Darts Tournament 2015 – 16. The Tournament was held on Knockout Basis.
The 14th of July evening witnessed the commencement of the Bhawanipur Basketball Championship for Neophytes 2016. The Championship is exclusively being organised for the fresher’s and is the first of its kind in our college. On 7th * 8th September 2015, The Department of Games and Sports, conducted an Intra College Single’s Badminton Tournament at Y.M.C.A. (Chowringhee Branch) Kolkata. 263 boys and 97 girls participated in the tournament. The Tournament was held on knockout basis and was also the selection’s for the College Badminton Team 2015-16.
