The Bhawanipur Education Society College had organised on the 14th of December a special session on the art of anchoring. What made this event all the way more special was the speaker RJ Praveen of 93.5 Red FM. RJ Praveen is not just a household name in the city of Kolkata but all over India. One can always find his videos to be trending on Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp. It is because of his love and passion for anchoring that he surpasses all the others.
The session started at 2 pm and the show was undoubtedly a full house. The students were more than excited to attend and learn from their favourite. All covid protocols were strictly followed and social distancing was maintained throughout the event.
RJ Praveen kick started the event by sharing his journey with the students first. He briefly spoke about his experiences and the decisions he made that make him the man he is today. Then he spoke about the importance of organic and relatable content in today’s times. One of the funniest highlights of the day was when he picked up a random call that one of the members of the audience was getting and pranked the caller. No one in the audience could control their laughter, it was so humorous but at the same time it was in good faith and the caller ended up having a blast too. The session which lasted for almost 2 hours ended with a quick question and answer round in which RJ Praveen very patiently answered the queries of the students and gave them useful inputs.
The session was extremely joyous and beneficial for the members present who wish to pursue anchoring as a profession or passion. RJ Praveen’s presence graced the entire event, and the audience had a great time. This event will be remembered by all for sure!
