An effective CV presents you as an ideal job candidate and secures you an interview. To convince the employer that you have the right experience, skills and attributes, you need to tailor your CV to each job application. Keeping this in mind, a seminar was conducted under the able guidance of Mr. Kanishka Bagaria on “writing an effective CV and face interview.”
This session dealt with some essential tips to make a CV crisp and effective enough to crack an interview. He delineated the most important parts of a CV, and how individuals should work upon it. Some common errors while drafting a CV and the key to its rectification were discussed in minute details. After completing the first hurdle of making an effective CV, we were introduced to another hurdle to that of facing an interview. A discussion was held on the various common questions asked during the interview and how to tackle them smartly that the interview gives a positive response. Tips regarding the postures, appropriate attire and most importantly the manner of answers to be given to crack the interview.
All the participants seemed to enjoy and benefit from Sir. I am sure Mr. Kanishka added loads of colours in the canvas of all the students. The seminar trained one and all in every aspect which is essential to successfully ace an interview.
